Focused on weekends, Corgi Tours will host a series of Sydney movie walking tours, that lifts up the curtain of the Matrix’s code to reveal hidden Sydney Movie Locations that are hidden in plain sight but with your guide, you will see beyond the Matrix’s illusion to discover many hidden secrets, whether you’re a Sydney local or a visitor from the other side of the world, there’s something for everyone.
Here at Corgi Tours, while sometimes it might look like we’re on the tourist trail, we will visit back streets and hidden places and find some known and unknown film locations from films and major international TV shows that some of you have and haven’t heard of. Led by a knowledge guide who has built up a large database from 400 Sydney shot films.
Scenic Sydney
The Sydney Opera House at Bennelong Point is one of the most famous and recognisable places in the world, so there’s better place to start your Scenic Sydney Movie Walking Tour, as it’s been featured in many different international and Australian films due to its instant recognition status, which is why it’s often used in disaster movies. From the steps of the Opera House, you can see where the Tour will finish, across the water under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
City Skylines
The City Skylines Walking Tour takes you around movie locations shot around the Sydney CBD. Beginning near Wynyard Station, make your way across the city and discover some of the hidden film history that would be generally unknown but revealed to you with your experienced guide as you make your way across to finish around Martin Place Station. Some films you might know and some you might only discover on this tour.
Matrix Tour
Sydney was chosen to be the futuristic-simulated computer world in the Matrix Trilogy by The Wachowskis to closely resemble their hometown Chicago.
This is the longest of our three walking tours but is worth the extra walking which takes you to as many Matrix Sydney locations as possible in a very interactive tour and many opportunities to re-enact your favourite scenes from the movies.

Book a Sydney Movie walking tour for your private group if you want to book a tour outside of the normal weekend tour dates. We can also offer Christmas or end-of-financial-year party for corporate groups. Easy walking tours in the Sydney CBD and Circular Quay that start at near public transport hubs respectively.
Walking & Social Clubs
Enjoy a gentle walk in the Sydney CBD to see some historic movie filming locations. Your group will be guided by a local film expert, who will reveal Sydney’s popular and lesser known historical filming spots. Your group will meander through quaint lanes, dark alleys and picturesque streets and hear some trivia and stories about the Sydney shot films.
